António Lopes Ribeiro Vinho Verde Branco

Origin: Vinho Verde, Portugal
Grape varieties: 60% Loureiro, 30% Avesso, 10% Arinto

About the Wine, Winemaker, & Winemaking Process

These grapes come from a vineyard located in the valley of the river Lima, in the region of Vinho Verde - 7km from the Atlantic Ocean. The soils are granite and the vines are biodynamically farmed. Produced from all indigenous varietals, the grapes are gently crushed and decanted for 48 hours. Native yeast fermentation lasts 3 months in stainless steel tanks.

This is a wine that somehow brings together both lightness & good body, along with structure and complexity. It is deliciously fresh and mineral-forward, with a yellow-citrine color and a nose that displays delicate aromas of green apple and orange. Expect a wine with expressive acidity, vibrancy, and freshness with a persistent finish.
